Residency in Arles

We are very pleased to tell you about our latest Residency in Arles (FR), where we designed and made a fan and a production book over one month.

Mistral is a fan. It is composed by an alluminum main part, a laser cut grid and a concrete iron base. The rotating blades are cut with plasma in alluminum. The two knobs to set the inclination and the handle are 3D printed with a filament in PLA and Algae from the region. The motor comes from a local second hand shop. Mistral was made within the SUPERLOCAL project, initiated in 2015 by Andrea de Chirico.
